About Our Speakers:

Art Vasquez - Strategic Sales and Account Advisor, Anthem Nevada. 

He began his insurance career in the life and supplemental health segment and transitioned to Individual and Small Group Health Insurance in 2013 when he joined Anthem BCBS. During his tenure with Anthem, he has held multiple roles including Individual Telesales, Individual Retention and Small Group Sales. Art’s experience lies in broker relations, benefits consulting and access to care problem solving. In his free time Art enjoys exercising, adventure seeking, Padel and international travel.

Connor Deck Hometown Health, Director of Sales & Retention

Connor Deck is the Director of Sales & Retention at Hometown Health and manages all commercial LOBs, including AHPs. Connor joined Hometown Health in October of 2021 and prior to that worked for Kaiser Permanente in the greater Sacramento region. Outside of work Connor enjoys skiing and mountain biking and spending time with family and friends.

Suzanne Durante - National Broker Account Manager, CareSource 

I’m proud to call sunny Las Vegas, Nevada my hometown, where I’ve spent the past 15 years working as an independent broker. For the last decade, my focus has been health insurance, and five years ago I expanded my portfolio to include Medicare. In November this last year I switched to the corporate side to work alongside an amazing team of industry professionals at CareSource. Outside of work, I love to run long distances. In 2025 I set a personal goal to run five half marathons. I’m proud to say I achieved that goal, finishing my final race with the Las Vegas Half-Marathon this October. This experience reinforced my belief that with commitment and determination, anything is possible.
